The Khdemli wallet is your account's internal balance: you top it up once, and every contact unlock is charged to it automatically, for a few dirhams. It saves you from re-entering a payment method for each introduction, keeps a clear record of every operation, and works exactly the same way for customers and for craftsmen. Here is everything you need to use it without surprises.
What the wallet is for
The wallet has exactly one purpose: paying for contact unlocks. It is never used to pay for a job — the price of the work goes directly to the craftsman, off-platform. In other words, your wallet balance is not your renovation budget; it is your introductions budget, counted in dirhams rather than hundreds of dirhams.
- Available balance, permanently displayed in your account area
- Automatic charge on each unlock, at the price shown before you confirm
- Full history: top-ups, charges and free unlocks
- A notification for every operation, so nothing goes unnoticed
How the wallet is charged
When you confirm the unlock of a craftsman, the corresponding amount is deducted from your balance and the operation is written into your history. The price is always shown before you validate — you never discover the amount afterwards. If your balance is insufficient, the unlock is simply blocked and the platform invites you to top up: there is no overdraft, no debt and no automatic charge. The mechanism itself is described in the article on unlocking a contact.
No automatic charging
Free unlocks
Some accounts hold free unlocks, granted through a welcome offer or a campaign. They are consumed first, before any balance is touched: while you still have them, an unlock costs nothing and appears in your history as a free operation at zero dirhams. Once they run out, the platform automatically falls back to your balance at the displayed price.

Topping up your wallet
Top-ups are made by bank transfer or by cash deposit through a transfer service, after which you upload the proof of payment from your account area. The team checks the receipt and credits your balance; you are notified as soon as it is done. A minimum amount applies, deliberately set low so the service stays accessible. Every step is described in the top-up guide.
The wallet on the craftsman's side
An important point that is often misunderstood: craftsmen have a wallet too, and it is charged the same amount when a customer unlocks their contact. It is not an earnings account — Khdemli never receives the money from your jobs, so it never pays it out to you either. This is the mechanism that replaces commission: each side contributes a few dirhams to the introduction, and nothing at all is taken from the value of the work. The logic is developed in the article on the Khdemli model.
Keeping your balance safe
The wallet is tied to your account and to nothing else: nobody can charge it on your behalf, and no operation happens without your on-screen confirmation. Two precautions are yours to take, though. Never share your login details, even with someone claiming to be from the Khdemli team — we never ask for a password. And only ever top up towards the payment details shown inside your account area, never towards a bank account received by message. These rules, with the rest of our recommendations, are set out on the Safety page.
Following and checking your operations
Every movement is timestamped and labelled: approved top-up, unlock charge with the name of the craftsman concerned, free unlock. If anything looks wrong — a charge you do not recognise, a top-up that has not appeared after your proof was approved — the right move is to contact support through the Contact page, quoting the date and amount of the operation.
